Aimur Takk is an artist whose creative practice to date has been reactionary-opportunistic and site-specific, often performative, seeking a better tomorrow. In his latest works he explored the formation of self-image through the rumination of memories, which led to autofiction in the form of installations and graphic works for his first solo exhibition "Mass sisse, mass välja" (2024) at Vana-Võromaa Kultuurikoda.

Aimur Takk is a freelance designer working across disciplines, focusing mainly on typefaces and visual identities. He graduated from the Graphic Design department of the Estonian Academy of Arts (EKA) in 2016 and has studied typeface design at HfG Offenbach (2015–2016) and ÉCAL Lausanne (2018–2020). Aimur has created custom typefaces for the ERKI Fashion Show (2017), IDA Radio, and Tallinn Music Week. He has been a visiting lecturer at EKA GD since 2017 and is one of the initiators of ??? Summer School in Estonia. Together with Andree Paat, he is running type foundry Tüpokompanii, offering retail fonts, custom type design services and consultancy.
